Piano Lessons for Kids, Teens, and Adults in Richmond
Ages 4+

Right now you are probably thinking back to your piano lesson experience when you were a kid. Was it a good one? Or was it, eh ...something less than extraordinary? Maybe you never had the opportunity to take lessons. Either way, now is the time for new beginnings.

We believe piano lessons should build confidence and be an event to look forward to.  The days of painful practice are over. Our students set their own goals. No time to practice? No problem, we'll help you learn during your lesson and build upon that, one week at a time. Want to put in more time at home? Great! You'll see faster progress and learn more music you love.

Adults, you deserve a break from all that life asks of you, and music lessons offer just that.  You want you to get that creative, right-side of the brain flowing, but might be wondering if now's the time to pursue your interests. Westwood Music Club in the near west end of Richmond offers individual piano lessons to ages 4 and up. We're a family music school, and our teachers understand the different learning styles and needs of kids and adults. Enroll yourself, your child, or both of you today!

Our piano team teaches sight-reading, pop songs, and improvisation to beginners, intermediate and advanced players. We use methods books graduated in levels and can instantly print virtually any song from our online music library. Whether you want to learn the basics or master the classics. Let us help match you with the perfect teacher to meet your goals.

What you need for your first piano lesson

We don't require our students to have a piano at home. If you do, great! If not, don't worry about it just to get started. After a short time though you'll probably want to have some kind of keyboard or piano at home to get the most out of all the new skills you'll learn.  We can help you find one that meets your needs.

We supply all of the books and sheet music, so no need to pick up anything in advance. Just come in with your fingers! If you have had lessons before and have music you last worked on, it's a good idea to bring it in and we can better access your level and what next steps to take.
