​​ This dynamic session is the perfect opportunity for music students already taking private lessons to enhance their skills in a fun and collaborative setting. Playing in a band offers unique benefits—students will develop teamwork, listening, “playing-by-ear” and improvisation skills that complement the more individual and traditional focus of private lessons. While school bands and orchestras often center on classical or jazz music, our rock band program fills a creative gap by focusing on popular music from the last 70 years. Join us and rock out!

Members will be grouped by age and experience. Parts are customized to the players' ability. 
Singers wanted! But vocalists must also be willing to learn basic keyboard parts or percussion, in additional to singing lead vocals.
 
Ages 9-17, Must have completed at Least Level 1 in a method book and be enrolled in private lessons at Westwood Music Club. 
 
Practices will be on Saturdays, at 10:00 am -11:45am or 12:00pm-1:45pm- times will be assigned.
